►Tuindagen Beervelde 2018

Recently we gave some very nice workshops “Make a Floral Crown” @ De Tuindagen in Beervelde. With more than 18.000 visitors it was a very successful edition. At the home of Reynaert (“Het Huis van Reynaert”) they worked with great pleasure on the most beautiful flower crowns. The smile on the faces was at least as beautiful as the selfmade flower creations ♥. Thank You Service Culture and Tourism Lochristi for this nice assignment. We love to create happiness through flowers and that mission was completed.

 

► Brothers In Arms..

Farewell “Flowers” straight out of my heart for my Uncle Gerard, who passed away recently. The navy had a special place in his heart for long time. I found this little boats unexpectedly and I believe that it was meant to be.. I tried to translate his personality as the person he was in my design in flowers and plants..

Cacti and exotics for a little touch of Curaçao (he loved it there), wild orchids and a lot of garden plants who can get a permanent spot in the garden of his loved ones (Echinacea, Achillea and Mentheae), sunflowers (for his cheerfulness) and some more hidden details. This floral design also has a sustainable character, very important for Mother Nature and also good for the bees and butterflies in their garden..

Flowers and Plants bring a lot of consolation and warmth in difficult and hard times. In this way you can create a little memorial spot in your own backyard. Too keep it ‘close’ and memories alive”. Soulgarden by Debbie Borbála

► On Air! TV Commercials Dr. A. Vogel..

A little while ago zijn we gevraagd om de florale styling te verzorgen voor de opnames van de nieuwe televisiecommercials van Dr. A. Vogel.. Een super coole opdracht!
Na een aantal draaidagen (met o.a. fotograaf Ruud Binnekamp) in de tuinen van Dr. Vogel, een lange opnamedag in de studio, 35 mensen crew én 28 meter aan natuurlijke hangende tuin was het gehoopte resultaat een feit. Proud to present: 50 shades of green ;)!

►Flashback to: Floor On The Road 2017!!

Omdat planten onmisbaar zijn voor een gezonde (blok)omgeving hebben we wederom voor/met Floor plantjes uitgedeeld tijdens de blokperiode. Een maand lang zijn we door vier Belgische grootsteden (Gent, Antwerpen, Leuven & Brussel) getrokken om planten in de spotlights te zetten én om de studenten alvast een hart onder de riem te steken voor de naderende examenperiode. Van plantjes wordt je immers creatiever, ze ontstressen & zuiveren ook nog eens de lucht.. Groen is gewoon ontzettend belangrijk voor ons; niet alleen buiten maar dus ook binnen. Haal een stukje natuur in huis!

Wie is Floor? Floor is een jongerencampagne vanuit de Vlaamse Overheid (VLAM) specifiek voor de sector bloemen en groen. Omdat planten enorm belangrijk zijn & dus niet alleen buiten, zetten zij deze al jaren in de spotlights onder jongeren. Voor het derde opeenvolgende jaar is Floor “On The Road” gegaan met een hip busje vol met plantjes om deze uit te delen onder studenten tijdens hun blokperiode..

A little while ago, I visited the beautiful and magical island of Ibiza to make some vintage decorations with plants for a special birthday. Do you recognise these cups that are not only my grandmothers  favourites but also mine :D? Anyway, if you’re looking for some vintage (Ibiza) inspiration with succulent plants, be inspired!
